Radio Interoperability

Valcom IP products allow you to easily extend the range of your radio equipment by utilizing existing network infrastructure.  The VIP-801 series of equipment will accept a line level output from a radio base station and stream the audio over you existing LAN to other VIP-801 series units.  The remote VIP-801 units will then convert the stream back to line level audio for connection to audio inputs on remote base stations for retransmission.  The audio stream can be initiated via contact closure or VOX operation.  The remote VIP-801 units also provide a contact closure output to initiate transmission from the remote base station.  This Radio Interoperability is in place at the Michigan Air National Guard.
