Before visiting the site, arrange for:

  • A meeting with the end user to determine their communications needs.  Ask lots of questions…listen.

  • An end user tour guide that is knowledgeable about the facility layout.

  • Standard size blueprints (for your layout).

  • Reduced prints (or scaled evacuation diagram) to carry with you.  Mark all area descriptions, noise levels, ceiling heights, construction materials, aisles/racks, obstruction location/height, reverberant areas, equipment rooms, telephone system information, possible features and zoning information, moveable walls, etc… on reduced prints as you tour the facility.
