Designed with dual capabilities, Valcom’s VL520 and VL550 series PoE Speaker with Text enhances your organization’s daily and emergency communications needs. Both are capable of simultaneously broadcasting audible and visual alerts to individuals in your facility notifying them of important information. The easy-to-install speaker functions as both a talkback intercom and one-way speaker for facility-wide paging.

The VL520 and VL550 are equipped with dual-side mounted flashers, which provides a visual alert for individuals with hearing impairment to help your facility be ADA compliant. Valcom offers two sizes, the VL520 series is a smaller compact speaker that is 20” wide. The VL550 is a medium speaker that is 40” wide.

Threat Level Indicator

To enhance the VL520 or VL550, Valcom offers the VL-TL3 Threat Level Indicator device that attaches to the top or bottom of the VL520 and VL550. The VL-TL3 is a color-coded alerting device designed with three colors – red (top), yellow (middle) and green (bottom) to indicate severity levels of an alert in your organization. When used with the Speaker with Text the VL-TL3 integrates into the unit, operates independently and comes equipped with a built-in connector for mounting so no additional power or cables are required.
