Read his bio below. \nJim French embarked on his educational journey in 1990\, dedicating 33 years to public education. For the final 24 years\, he served as a high school principal and the district’s crisis planning coordinator. Approached by his superintendent in his last year\, he transitioned to develop the district’s crisis planning and reunification processes\, leading him to collaborate with the I Love U Guys Foundation. Jim played a pivotal role in creating the Reunification Process using the Standard Reunification Method (SRM) and later joined the foundation as an instructor. Throughout his career\, he received accolades such as Catalyst’s University Principal of the Year in 2018 and the Michigan Interscholastic Press Association (MIPA) Administrator of the Year in 2021. Jim’s leadership extended to serving on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principals (MASSP)\, culminating in his presidency in 2017. He currently resides in Schoolcraft\, MI\, with his wife and four children.
