The VE8090R SIP Intercom Controller provides access to Valcom VoIP audio endpoints from SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) telephone servers. Valcom IP systems can be as simple as an IP speaker accessed directly from an IP phone system or as complex as a multisite emergency mass notification system with 1000s of IP speakers, horns, LED signage, email alerts, PC screen alerts and strobes.

Most systems are accessed by Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and/or FXO ports, have integration to a small number of analog systems or speakers, have switch inputs to activate emergency messages, and have relays to interface with access control systems or other non-Valcom systems.

Other very common features include bell schedules, pre-recorded audio messages, email alerts and a GUI control/management interface.

The IP6K Headend Package is a perfect starting point for most systems as it provides all these
most common features in a convenient 19-inch (48.26 cm) 3 rack unit* package.  

Additional gateways, IP speakers, clocks and IP LED signs may be added to your Valcom system
